July Travels

 

Happy first of July! Can you believe how fast summer is going by? In a way I am very excited that July is finally here, because for me it is going to be full of exciting travels and adventures! In one week Anna, her sister, and I will be headed to party it up in Atlanta (which you will certainly hear more about). And when we get back, I will have five days to pack up and get my butt on a plane to Belize. I'm so excited to be going back for the third time (holy cow!) and cannot wait to see what amazing things happen when I'm there. It's official, my June gloom is gone, and I'm excited for what July has in store.

Crop Tops: No or Go?

I'm kind of falling for the crop top trend. Although I'd have to do about a million crunches before I could wear one myself... I think it's a fun and tasteful way to show a little skin when done right. I've seen a lot of looks where crop tops are worn with high waisted skirts or shorts, but for the summer months they're now being paired with a completely exposed midriff. So what do you all think? Should they only be worn with high waist pieces? Are you loving this trend or should midriff's be kept covered?

♥ the little things

Sorry we've been a little absent the last few days, but we've been soaking up the summer air. This past week has been relaxing and calm; the epitome of summertime. We spent all day at the beach yesterday and with sandy feet and sun-kissed cheeks, we can say it was simply amazing. We hope you all take some time today to enjoy all the little things that makes summer so great.

At the movies the other day, there was a preview playing for a movie where this family's goal was to earn "thrill points." These thrill points were awarded to anyone who did anything thrilling. Thrilling as in makes your heart rate increase and your body shake. Something that makes you laugh and cry. Something that makes you feel invincible for just a moment.

We seriously cannot wait for summer to arrive, but while we must spend an unhealthy amount of our time indoors, we are planning ahead for our summer.
